Where is my soul? Far away in the sky!

Elle est retrouvée.
Quoi? - L'Éternité.
C'est la mer allée
Avec le soleil.

Âme sentinelle,
Murmurons l'aveu
De la nuit si nulle
Et du jour en feu.

Des humains suffrages,
Des communs élans
Là tu te dégages
Et voles selon.

Puisque de vous seules,
Braises de satin,
Le Devoir s'exhale
Sans qu'on dise : enfin.

Là pas d'espérance,
Nul orietur.
Science avec patience,
Le supplice est sûr.

Elle est retrouvée.
Quoi ? - L'Éternité.
C'est la mer allée
Avec le soleil.

I hear some dissonance here with the idealistic illusions of the 60's, and the harsh realities of the present.. Good use of verse to weave together the theme of that song (Age of Aquarius) with feelings today.. good pun on aquarium too..

interesting.. Good imagery.. It makes me think of a beach, or a fast flowing stream.. Then it turns into the last line.. 'When all - will gather and finally, unfold.' making me think that the poem is a metaphor for something else.. Maybe the unfol...

Wow...for me this is an orchestral epic. The music grasping the senses and the scene painted very well. I've tried doing this myself but I don't think it's nearly as good...Well done, enjoyed!!!

[Ocean's Peril]

The ocean eats them one by one, their lungs replaced by salty waters, like knives in their throats.
All them fall down, down, into liquid darkness.
Never again seeing the light of day, never again sailing on their beloved, which sinks gracefully beside them.
News of the deaths of those aboard this legend is going to travel swiftly, like a gull in the warmest season.

One sailor is plagued by his past as he sinks, almost unconscious, barely hanging on to his thoughts, his breath.

He gulps for ai… Continue

Subway Jazz

Platonic dreams,
Phosphorescent themes,
Interwoven absurdities,

Illusion’s dissonance,
Lost innocence,

Ongoing conflict between
Hope and reality.

Alien nation,

Down in the
Subway station,

Underground.

Saucy aromas
Turn into

A lone

Seeks
lost souls.

Notes
passage of time
both
day and night.

Shades of blue,
A painted tune,
shimmers into
solitude.

Frequent Exchanges

Seamless
and momentous.
The eventful small passages,
turn and wave
on ever shifting tips.
Tidal whites peak -
to gingerly nudge
and swirl the silt
circling, gushing
the sandy laid rock.

Subtle
and unfinished.
Glimpses
to savour, pieces -
loosely sewn-in.
For never forgetting -
the final tailoring.
When all - will gather
and finally, unfold.

[Along the Path of Paradise.]

A fire struck, holding our gaze,
The dance starts, slow at first.
Slaying our hearts, one by one.
Our love is the soul's only thirst.

Remember the days when our swords touched flesh.
Remember the days when our hearts saved lives,
The worlds of war, no longer our paradise.

Favouring freedom, his armies strike.
Like lightening from Mother's bosom,
Kissing the lips of eternity, eternally.
We ride among the fallen.

Remember the nights when our emotions found sanctuary.
Remember the nights when ou… Continue

Immaculate Unwrap

Frail in the morning call
where the raincoat comes
undone and last nights
evidence falls glistening
in the sun. A gentle unwrap
has just begun and yesterday,
is all but over and gone.

Dawn captures unfurled essence
and it delicately clutches
renewal aroused.
Under-leaf drips on a sheeted
morning dew bed where decay
melts away impurities.
The rose immaculately unfolds
as sure as the new day calls.

An Epic. [Kingdom of Vengeance.]

Sorrow fills crumbling walls,
Screaming with plagued calls
Our kingdom is falling to dust,
We cannot get up, cant ever get up.

We cannot give up! Will not give up!
Through the tunnels we wind,
Following the sacred path.
We are not here for enemies to find.

The King is Dead! He is dead..
His neck and throat have bled.
Take it away, that horrific sight.
We end the night. End the night!

Women, children, elders, all running.
Finding a way to get out, to escape.
The burning in our lungs fills us w… Continue

Snow Fall

Let the snow fall down upon us
The wind wrapping us in its icy embrace
I feel the warmth of your body
As you hold me tight in your arms
Protecting me from winter’s chill
Your kiss melts my frozen lips
Igniting a fire within my soul
In your eyes I can see a thousand tomorrows
Days full of warmth and nights of passion
Though the wind blows fierce around us
Bitter cold air stinging our skin
I could stay in this moment forever
So let the snow fall down upon us
For there is no other place I’d rather… Continue
